Established H&I Safety and Training in 2014 and have grown to a staff base of 10 employees. With a background in the Army, Civil and WH&S. Ian is able to provide your business with the expertise to create SWMS and Plant Risk Assessments tailored to your needs.

Nicky Hackney Office Manager H&I Safety and Training

Nicky Hackney – Office Manager

Nicky ensures efficiency, productivity and customer satisfaction in the day to day operation of our company. Nicky comes from an RTO Administrator role, with an understanding of the VET Sector and NVR Standards assisting with the development of procedures and training materials to meet industry needs and expectations.

Chris McDaniel Trainer H&I Safety and Training

Chris McDaniel – Supervisor

Joining the team 2018, with over 13 years experience in civil construction working for tier one companies of many of Sydney's major construction projects. Chris is a qualified Trainer and Assessor expanding his skills and passing on his knowledge to the new guys on those very sites he helped to construct. Chris is a great asset to H&I and will move mountains to get the job done.

Ken Constable – Trainer

Joining the team 2017, with 9 years of experience in the civil construction and mining sector. Ken is an integral part of the H&I team, delivering training and assessment on Sydney's major projects including Sydney Metro and West Connex. Ken is willing to go above and beyond to ensure trainees have the skills and knowledge to succeed in this ever changing industry.

Marisa Damiano Accounts H&I Safety and Training

Marisa Damiano – HR Manager

Joining the team 2018, with 6 years of knowledge in the Earthmoving Industry. Marisa has a background and qualifications in Administration, Bookkeeping and Accounting. She foresees the day to day duties of keeping the accounts up to date as well as managing payroll, finance & assets of the company.

Courtney Sparkes – Administration

Joining the team in 2018, with qualifications in Business. Courtney oversees all aspects of supervising business operations, as well as related fields which include accounting, finance, marketing and business growth. Courtney is Qualified in Business Administrations.


Mia Leitch - Office Administration

Joining the team in 2018, Mia brings with her 6 years of knowledge in the Building and Construction industry. Mia works autonomously managing Accounts Receivable, day to day office duties.

Josh Sparkes Trainer H&I Safety and Training

Joshua Sparkes – Trainer

Joining the team in 2016, Joshua commenced as a Trainer Assessor and has proven himself an asset to the company. Joshua has the "gift of the gab" and knows the intricacies of his role. Joshua aids in the design and development of learning materials, SMWS and plant inspections. Joshua is happy to get his hands dirty, training and assessing our clients.
